Smarter Bots are designed to be Stupid


Natural Language bots are a bit like driverless cars.  Great when they work but pretty bad when they don’t.  When designing them (in both cases) the key is to not overstretch the tech. Have your automated car restricted to motorways and have your bot restricted in its subject area.  That way a user knows, for example, not toask the Account Opening Bot what the weather is and if they do ask that they deserve whatever answer they get!
